We provide a dedicated sklera Player App for the Hisense 43BM66AE with Android 9. To install it download and install the sklera Watchdog App first:
After installing you need to change the configuration of the Watchdog:
- Disable the setting 'rooted Device'
- Switch 'Auto Update installation method' to 'packageInstaller'
- Set the 'Auto Updater config url' to https://start.sklera.tv/app/android/hisense/version.json
As soon as you set this config and restart the Watchdog App it will automatically download and install the latest sklera Player App version.
Warning: installing the Watchdog is mandatory for this device model.
Known limitations
There are a few limitations when using the sklera Player app with the Hisense 43BM66AE.
- Display orientation (Landscape or Portrait) can not be set via the sklera CMS and have to be configured on the display itself.
- Time settings: We recommend setting the system time via NTP / a time server. To do so, go to the Displays' settings. In the Device Settings menu you'll find the Time Settings. Set the 'Network Sync' setting to 'On'.
